ECSK - Sales Manager

Our current Sales Manager in Elkem Carbon Slovakia is taking on new challenges, and we are searching for her replacement. The ideal candidate has experience from the carbon materials industry.

Most important areas of responsibility:

• Promote and develop sales
• Regular meetings with our customers to build relationship with our current customers and also potential ones
• Close contact with technical service team to offer solutions to our customers which are in line with our sales strategy
• Provide regular market updates
• Analyze sales data to forecast customer’s demand

Qualifications required for the position:

• Minimum Bachelor (University)
• Minimum five years’ experience from (technical) sales or other industrial companies.
• Strong commercial mindset and negotiation skills
• Customer focus
• Contractual understanding and follow-through ability on contracts
• Slovak or Czech, written and oral 
• Fluent in English, written and oral

We are looking for a person with excellent communication skills and experience in sales in B2B. You build trust and communicate well with customers and your colleagues. You must be result orientated, customer focused and demonstrate high level of drive. To succeed in the position, you must be able to work independently and structured.

The position requires travelling, mainly in Europe, focused on Central and Eastern Europe plus Balkan. You will report to the Plant Manager.
