Junior Controller

Vianode is looking for a Junior Controller to join our Finance team at Skøyen, Oslo.

Our first industrial plant for the production of anode graphite is under construction in Norway, with start of production scheduled for the second half of 2024. The next phase will involve construction of a large-scale plant, and this is in the planning stage, with production targeted during 2027.

To support our exciting growth phase, we are now hiring for the position of Junior Controller. The role reports to the Senior controller.

We are starting several new and exciting projects and we need more capacity on the Controller-team. As a Junior Controller with us, you will be a financial and analytical support function for our projects. You will work closely with our project managers and contribute with data-driven insight in connection with key decisions. You will also receive training in our new financial system.

You must be able to familiarize yourself with the projects and be able to understand the different needs between the actors internally and externally.

Key responsibilities in the role:

• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate and punctual reporting to management.
• Help shape and develop the Anaplan-Environment and help ensure good user experiences in our reporting.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in efficiency of our processes and data gathering.
• Forecasting and budgeting of CAPEX and Cash-Flow.
• Be a link between departments in Vianode.
• Assist with our sustainability-reporting and CSR project.
• Assist the finance department with ad-hoc tasks as we develop.
• Challenge and support project leaders in a constructive way.
• Be a resource in our development of systems and technology.

Qualifications:

• Higher education within business, finance, or accounting
• Preferably 1-3 years of controlling, accounting, auditing, or business development.
• Graduates will be considered depending on motivation and maturity.
• Interest in technology and IT-systems.
• Capabilities within financial analysis and reporting.
• Good skills in Excel and knowledge of Power BI.
• Ability to communicate across departments in an international environment.
• Knowledge of logistics is an advantage but not a requirement.
